Surging problem on 05'

I have an 05' with 2500 miles on it. I notice when holding the RPM's steady that it feels like it is surging. What is causing that? Advice appreciated. T.

I thought I felt the same thing when I got my '05 with 25K on it. After resyncing the carbs, it went away.

I experienced this with my 04. I changed the plugs , Synced the throttle bodies and, replaced and used the onboard computer to setup the TPS. The TPS I used was a replacement supplied by my Yamaha dealer because of a recall. I don't know which of these procedures took care of the surging, but there is no sign of it now.
