Tried the Barbarian Mod on my 2005. I used a small wire to jumper pins. Changed my settings to +7 and seems a little smoother. Can I remove the Jumper wire? will the ECU retain the settings? Reason I ask is the connector doesn't seem to be locking in my jumper wire.

Yes you can remove the jumper. Yes the ECU will retain the settings. The jumper only enables access to the CO screen. Removing the jumper will take away access to the screen but your new settings will be retained. You should replace the little white plugs to protect the connector from water infiltration.
