The results are in... the trophies were based on items the riders picked up during the rally. It just so happened that we are in the land of cheese and Rick's "buy me some cheese boni" happened to fit really well into everyone's routes. There is plenty of cheese to go round.

I'll add on my heaps of praise for Rally Master Rick. It was a great time with lots of fun bonii to hunt down and beautiful country for riding. And great work, Rick, organizing and hosting CFO. Hope to see you all along with plenty of new faces next year!

Craig

Good job people! Where's the pictures? Where's the cows responsible for the cheese? We love cows.
It just so happens that off of a wrong turn down a small road or "cowpath" and rechecking maps we did happen to draw a bit of a curious crowd. I'll post the pic as soon as I get a chance.

My GAWD man!

Your'e retired now.

Plenty of time to focus and hone your skills.

And you didn't make the podium?

And now my bookie is bangin' on the door?

...Gotta go.

(Next time, my $$'ll be on Gramps. :blink: )

Got home about 1 today after a GREAT weekend. Good to meet some new faces - even another guy from da region - Chester. Rick - thanks for puttin on a great rally and meeting. Looking forward to it next year. I want to see you orchestrate that lightining bolt at the beginning of the rally again!

That lighting bolt was without question my proudest moment B)

Home safe & sound. Great rally Rick!!

I don't have the "balls to the wall" rally competitiveness in my blood, but it was a fantastic time.

Come have a drink with us next year Michael. B)

I've finally had a chance to go through all the score sheets and analyze the results some.

-Total mileage for the 13 finishers 3669

-There were 2 pairs of riders that rode together and both pairs came up with different total miles. Not too big of a surprise both pairs were an FJR with a different model bike. Chalk that up to speedo error.

-There were two riders that DID get identical total miles but they didn't ride together :huh:

-Craigregs who finished fourth overall and tops in efficiency rode fewer miles than all but 2 of the 13 finishers.

-The most popular bonuses were;

Wisc. fuel receipt - 12 riders

Minn. fuel receipt - 9 riders

Iowa fuel receipt - 8 riders

Ill. fuel receipt - 5 riders

Fuel log combo, fuel receipts from all 4 states - 5 riders

Also tied at 5 riders each were;

Buy an FJR oil filter and the Westby Co-op Creamery

Tied at 4 riders each were;

Crazy Franks I and II

-Biggest disappointment/flop bonuses

Out of 5 breweries only 2 were visited by 3 riders :eek:mg:

Only 1 rider went to Irma's and they didn't have the pie.

Nobody went to Ed Gien's grave or the Forevertron :banghead:
