Hey Guys and Gals, Southwest FJR Forum and AZ Beemers are going to meet up at the Cracker Barrel at 0930 hours next to the IMS Phoenix Motorcycle Show on Saturday January 25! Loop 101 & Glendale Avenue, 9312 W. Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85305

My AZB Buddy Max is providing his copy of "Why We Ride" for viewing that evening at my house in Chandler. Since it is going to be a long day, we will start the first showing of the movie at 1730 hours. Sort of early, but if people just want to view the movie and go home then they could do so at a decent hour. I'm working on getting folks stirred up to go to a local showing in Manteca, Ca, but it won't happen without about another 67 or so pre-ordered tickets. https://www.tugg.com/event_subscriptions/181641/orders Ask your buddy how he managed to get his DVD copy as the website to purchase one right now seems a bit sketchy and isn't allowing any sales. "The UPS man dropped my copy off the other day and here are my thoughts on the movie:

1 The photography and music are great.

2 They seem to spend a lot more time with shots of people talking about "why they ride" than showing people riding. I know, what did I expect from a movie titled "Why We Ride" but I was hoping this would be "On Any Sunday 2013".

3 I recognized Mert Lawwill, Kenny Roberts, Keith Code, Arlen Ness, and Troy Lee but the others weren't named until the closing credits.

Those of us who ride know why we ride. This movie might be a good reason for those people we talk to at gas stations or cafes when we are on the road to finally pull the trigger. You know the ones that look at your license plate and ask if you really rode all the way here from Arizona and you can see the wheels turning in their heads.

Well, I'll be missing the movie night, but I plan on hitting the show on Sunday...

Don, don't believe a word that Smartash tells you! We are driving .....but,,,,the reason is so that he can drink more! Besides that he can't carry enough oil to make that long of a trip. I can't find the hotels that you suggested. Can you post them again please. I need to make reservations for everyone as most of these guys can't work the phone.
