Team Strange 30th Anniversary Grand Tours

Not sure if this is the right place, but I ride an FJR, and this is one of my 2014 ride plans. So I'm posting it.

Team Strange is re-doing their Grand Tour. Basic idea is to spell Team Strange Airheads 30 using photos of city limit signs and a Highway 30 sign.

One of the challenges is the efficiency tour - do it using as few signs as possible. From 2010 census data, there's a few that start with TEA:

Now that doesn't take into account bridging words across a sign - but I couldn't find any 'MSTR' or similar town names. I'm betting 8 is as good as you can get.

Their next tour is the 'I've Been Everywhere' song tour - ride to at least 25 of the places mentioned in the song. Wikipedia provided this list and well, Google Maps will be your friend. No specials there.
