On Saturday (april 12), I hopped on the FRJ, and left Fairport NY--headed southeast through the Finger Lakes region. I had never been to this area, and I decided it was about time I did this particular ride. I also had an idea that i wanted to find the grave of my favorite person of science. I recently read that the average American can’t name one scientist--Living or Dead. What a shameful fact. Well. i can’t name many-- but i do appreciate this particular one. Why-- because in watching COSMOS has given me such a love and respect for science based thinking, that I never wanted to stop learning about science and space. So yes, I love motorcycles. But my other passion is science and engineering.
