Heated Grips - Yeah I know it is getting warmer :)

Hi All:

Quick question. I am troubleshooting non-working heated grips that someone else wired. They are Dual Stars with a Heat Troller. Here is my question:

The Heat Troller has a Blue Wire and White Wire coming from it.
Each Grip has a Red Wire, Blue Wire and White Wire coming from them.

I have seen several articles giving several different options to wire and wondering what you may have done on your FJR.

Some say Blue to Blue and White to White - grip to troller
Some say Red to Blue and White to White - grip to troller
Some say join red and blue and go to blue on the troller and then white to white

My goal is to make them as warm as possible and use the troller to reduce the heat. I'd rather have more heat and use a lesser setting than not enough heat when needed.

It's been awhile but if memory serves me I wired both circuits ( red & blue )

together to blue and white to white. This gives the most heat.

This is not a problem since Heattroller controls temp.

And yes, they are plenty hot.
