Big Bend Nat' Rec Area

I was camping with my son's boy scout troop in WV this weekend and we headed to Big Bend Nat' Recreation Area to do some tubing. We were driving down the gravel road to the put in spot and passed three bikes on the side of the road, a Gen III, a Gen II, and something else. Rough road to be riding on.

In the Heart of Texas Rally this year, one of the riders rode the River Road, in the dark, at rally pace.

It was certainly memorable enough that he thought to mention it.

Big Bend is a wonderful place to ride ... From the McDonald Observatory, through Alpine and Marfa (don't miss the sights in Marfa), right down to the bottom of the Park ... It's glorious

I think the Big Bend you're referring to is different than the one in WV.

So ... there are two Big Bends worth riding in!

I will put both Big Bends on my bucket list!
