Certifiable Old Fart
DUAL SPORT SUMMER CAMPOUT
TIMBER CAMP CAMPGROUND
AUGUST 8-10
Join us in the Arizona high country for our Summer Campout! Timber Camp is north of historic Globe, Arizona, and near the twisties of Salt River Canyon; at 6000' elevation it should be cool, and shaded by Ponderosa pines. The camp area is nice, with a large picnic pavillion, fire pits and grills-all the stuff that makes a good group campsite! Besides road-riding opportunities, there's plenty of dirt roads in the area, many of which lead to old mines and historic sites, and there's good places to eat and explore in Globe.
Lets go!
Directions:
From Phoenix, head east on US60 about 80 miles to Globe, continue on 60 27 miles to Timber Camp on the left.
From Show Low, head south on US 60 about 50 miles; you'll pass Salt River Canyon and see Timber Camp on the right, after entering Tonto National Forest.
No drinking water on site, so bring what you can
P.S.The Group Camp is called “Brundrett #2”- there are 2 “Timber Camp” campgrounds; Brundrett #2 is in the northernmost campground, not in the “Horse Camp”, which is to the south.
