Once again, the BMW Club of Southern Calif is putting on the Park 'N Ride
Rally on Saturday October 11th.

New this year: “Wheels for Wings” is the theme for the 5th Annual Park ‘N
Ride Rally where our efforts benefit Angel Flight West (AFW). AFW is a
nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency
air transportation within the 13 Western states for children and adults
with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. AFW matches up
volunteer pilots to people in need, enabling them to receive medical
treatment and other vital care that might otherwise be inaccessible because
of financial, medical, or geographic limitations. Charity Navigator has
awarded AFW their coveted four-star rating for sound fiscal management.

The Park 'N Ride Rally is an easy-to-complete day ride to some of the most
interesting places in California, and some surrounding states. We'll have
two classes, a Novice class where you only have to cover 100 miles and go
to 3 bonus locations to be a finisher; and an Open class, which is for more
experienced rally riders, or those who like a challenge.

Participants in our rally will be given the opportunity to donate to the AFW
both as an outright donation and via participating in our silent auction where all proceeds will go to
that worthy cause. All those at the finish location turning in a score
sheet will be eligible for one of our numerous door prizes, while those in
the Open class will be competing for gift certificates of $300 for 1st place, $200
for 2nd and $100 for 3rd. Novice-class riders will compete for a trophy and
gift certificates.

We've designed this rally so it won't matter if you are coming from San
Diego, San Francisco, Utah or Arizona. You can start near home- or anywhere
you want- and won't have to travel a long distance to complete the rally or
be competitive. The rally's finish is at New Century BMW Motorcycles, 3001
West Main Street Alhambra, CA 91801 (626) 282-2233.
