The Angle GT's have been good tires to date. The tires do heat up quick and IMHO would be hard to out ride by 99% of motorcyclist on the street. They do provide outstanding grip on the twisties. I have ridden then in the rain but didn't push them to find out the limits. I'm not that guy :)

The front tire at 7000 has cupped on both sides. It is hard to photograph the cupping. There would be 2000-3000 more miles in the front tire if it didn't cup out the way it did. However, it might not be the tires fault. I have been dealing with bushing stiction issues for quite some time during the 7000 miles. That problem is now resolved. The rear tire has been great. No issues at all. I run 42 psi rear and 41 psi front.

I enjoyed these tires too. I got about the same mileage out of them as I did on the road smarts. I felt the angels quickened the steering. They did slip on me in the rain though. I plan on using them as my summer tires, and going to road smarts as my winter tires.

I know people get annoyed with the tire threads, but I appreciate the report. Since I can't get the BT023 tires anymore, I wil be looking for something to put on the FJR soon.

I recently put the Angel GTs on my Honda Blackbird and now have 4500 miles on them. So far, these have been the best tires I've ever had on a bike. The front is starting to show a little cup, but the rear still looks new. I push it pretty hard in the corners and coupled with the rough texture roads and Texas summer heat, I'm impressed. I accidentally found out they work pretty good on the wet stuff too, after coming around a sharp shady corner, where a recent rain shower had not evaporated off the road.

My experience with the Angel GT's was less-than-stellar. Wear wasn't great compared to the PR2 and this was the first set of tires I've changed out well before the end of tread life because the front cupped and induced a bad steering wobble. I don't know whether I got a bad one or if they simply don't live up to their billing.

Ross, that is why I changed my front tire too, wobble. Like I said In my earlier post, I was fighting stiction issues so I didn't know if that contributed to the cupping or not. If this front tire does the same thing ill be going back to the Michelin's.

I moved from the 023 GT to the T30 and am pretty happy with them. Good grip in the rain which is frequent in the PNW. They feel more secure in turns, better tracking and less reaction to road surface irregularities is about as close as I can describe the feeling. Seem to be wearing evenly. I haven't looked at mileage yet but they are at least as good as the 023 GT's were with less cupping on the front. That may be due to increasing front tire pressure to 41 though. They were a couple of dollars less than the 023 GT last year when I bought them, I don't know if that is still the case.
