The Fall edition of the Iron Butt Magazine is in

Something unusual happened today.

I arrived home to FIVE copies of the IBM in a box. Unusual because I normally get just the one in a shrink-wrap, and because I get them before I had heard any chatter about the new issue elsewhere. Last time they were talking about it for two weeks before mine arrived.

Anyway, for all you subscribers, it is an excellent issue, well up to the normal standards.

The Exit Ramp article, one I normally look forward to as Bob Higdon is an excellent writer, has this time been written by some guy called Twigg.

Twigg is no Bob, but it's a decent piece about buying an FJR1300

It's a very strange experience, picking up a magazine and reading your own words coming back to you.

I never get used to it, and it never gets old

I would add that in reading this Forum, it's clear many here have stories to tell that would be appreciated by a wider audience. The magazine would welcome submissions especially if they are accompanied by a few good, high def. photos. They only print my stuff because I send it in!!
