It's that time of year again.

Lets meet at the usual place, usual time.
The LBIMC show starts at 9:30am. To let people sleep in some, lets meet at the Long Beach Starbucks On Bellflower Blvd at 9:00am (earlier for those wanting to meet, greet, and drink), Saturday November 15. Kick Stands Up (KSU) at 9:30am. The convention center is only about 7 miles form the Starbucks, please be fueled up for the long ride.

We'll figure out a route there, probably side streets.

Long Beach Starbucks:
2890 N Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA‎ - (562) 420-1317
Directions:

Let me know if you're going to meet us and I'll add your name to the list.

What would I do without my Forum proof readers? Thanks Dan, it's corrected.

I was a little late this year posting this and they moved the date up into November. Cool!

We're in. Please have waiting for us: Latte with double expresso shot, soy milk with carmel syrup and a small dollop of whipped cream.

Wait - we sold the beemer. Nevermind.

Coffee. Black. For two.

Just when I lost hope in Neil he came to his senses and sold the beemers. Look forward to seeing you and Janet. :)

Now ynotride needs therapy. :dribble:

Ha, although this Seattle boy will be in the greater La La Land area I won't make the show. Instead my son and I will be in Pomona California enjoying the 50th Annual Auto Club NHRA Finals. There is nothing like enjoying a bit nitromethane exhaust in the pit area early in the morning!

Man! I had no clue. There is a lot going on that weekend...

I'd like to be at the drag races too. Pinks also, a little early this year.

I am a fan of NHRA. It is awesome. 8,000 to 10,000 horsepower propelling a vehicle 1000 ft in about 3.8 seconds is truly an amazing spectacle. It make NASCAR look silly (sorry NASCAR fans).

I agree, drag racing is awesome! I also follow drag boat racing, my friend used to pilot the Problem Child top fuel hydro boat before Madd Maxx. I've been going to races since I was a kid. Winternationals at Pomona. World Finals at Orange County International Raceway (OCIR). I lived only about 12 miles form OCIR (before they shut it down) and could hear them running the nitro cars at night. I went to most of the races all year, great stuff. Now it's time allotment. Great fun though, love the smell of nitro in the morning!
