Insurance company in LA, Culver city

Moving to LA from NJ on the 28th of Nov.

Rider, my current insurance company doesn't operate in LA area.

Can someone please help me with the "right" insurance company?

I'm not in L.A. but I have All State who is much cheaper than GEICO where I live.

Allstate, the same company that abruptly stopped all mc underwriting several years ago...

...then picked it back up when Geico/Progressive were making a fortune.

..and Allstate, the company that sends me 'how many miles are you driving' every other month because my 4 wheel vehicles get very little use...

I don't know about more expensive. Got a call from another company a while back (State Farm IIRC) asking if they could give me a quote.

I gave them my current coverage, liability limits, (no tickets or accidents in 20 years) etc. They called back the next day with the quote - over twice as much as we pay with AAA.

Give them a chance.

For me GMAC and Progressive are by far the least expensive for comparable coverage.
