Interesting, especially having the ability to change batteries yourself.

I wonder if they will offer the 2-sensor model for bikes that also includes the separate monitor device similar to what is available for cars?

I don't know about that particular brand, but I've read a lot of bad reviews on the "screw on" type of sensors. I hear they can leak pretty bad. Plus you have to take them off every time you want to adjust the tire pressure.

I was looking into getting one from this company when it's time to swap out tires.

Interesting blend of technologies--now the occupants of your car can watch your tire pressures, too.

FOBO needs to reduce the transmitter size, IMO. The CR2032 battery they use is just over 3/4" diameter, and it fits inside the transmitter, so the transmitter must be relatively large and heavy.

The website mentions that the 2-3 wheel model does not have a monitor and that the user NEEDS to have a smart phone in order to use the product.

Their website says the transmitter weighs 10 grams. Maybe the battery description is wrong. 10g is not usually enough to require re-balancing either, although that wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for the link, this is what I've been looking for. I also don't like the external, stem mount units.

I really like the fact that they use angled stems.

Had one of those on my Goldwing for years without any troubles. Have a new one sitting here at home ready to go into the 15 when the first set of tires goes. Only have to solve the angled valve issue. They look too long after the 90 degree turn to clear the front brake calipers. Needs to find out from the company if they make a straight valve stem. Sensors and 11.3mm rim hole size fit.

If valve stems are the same ones packaged in this set, I would think they should clear the calipers with no problem.

They don't look much different than the angled valve stems I have on my ZX10 and there's plenty of clearance.

They are the ones. The literature also lists the FJR1300 under the 11.5mm fitments. Will report later when the tires go...

I've been running the Doran TPMS for almost 2 years, and not 1 issue. I have them mounted inside, not outside of the rim. However, I do like the Tirewatch monitor display, as Doran only gives an "OK" readout with correct pressure.

FOBO is from Malaysia. They're more than happy to let me order a set right now on their website. Claim in stock and all. They say they will ship today, 3-5 days shipping, all while the splash page still says "end March". App, while pretty new, is functional and available through the app store......... Charged instantly. . Probably just funded ISIS. Reversed charges after corresponding with the company. I'm looking for a tire stem mounted (external) tpms system that's real and for sale, that's reliable and has an unobtrusive monitor. Looked at accutire but it has 100 percent negative reviews.

They've shipped. I don't have the hardware, but have the app installed. They've been responsive to bug reports so far.
