Okay, for you folks who still may be enduring the tail end of winter, here's some crude tool entertainment...

What is it?

First clue: (Nope, not a candle)

Second clue: (Useful for old farts riding Gen 2/3. Give up?)

Still unsure? No rush. There's likely still time until the snow melts.

Cheers...

Castellated molar extractor? Where is there a castellated nut on the FJR, let me scratch my my head and steer my thoughts.

How much torque can that (printed?) tool take?

I think it's sitting on a microfiber cloth so that gives it some idea for scale. Maybe a quarter to half inch?

My only guess is it fits over the headlight adjuster knobs. Those things are a bit of a pain to twist.
Your only guess was a good one, RH - well informed by experience! I don't know if it's just very stiff because the mechanism is still new, but the old Gen 1 adjusters moved silky smooth in comparison.

Fun and useful material that is dead easy to work with. Great for prototyping.

They are a pain to twist because you don't want your headlights moving and shaking do you? I didn't guess right ref the tool. Damn, needed more photos! Good post though.
