Thought this was OEM, but not. I saw in a mag, I thought Yamaha was also making a factory accessory storage cowl for the R3 also.

Expensive? Not really.

I like the expandability, but question the weatherproofing, especially when expanded. Still, would like the option for our bikes.

Think LKLD was saying the expandable version in the OP is inexpensive at $300 when compared to the Sugglers Trunk at $853.

Here it is on Yamaha's website: $259.99-- I think if they made an FJR version at that price point they'd sell quite a few...
