2700 Miles

Every year, a group of friends gather for a weekend of riding and comradery. This year, base was in Moscow ID and friends from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and B.C. descended on the Best Western. After the weekend's frivolities, I continued on to Glacier National Park and then up to Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta.

It's the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Park.

That's at Waterton Lakes Park, Alberta. The Canada side of Glacier. Actually they are together the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

I love ride reports that take me to places that I have not been.

But more than that, I love ride reports and pictures that take me to places I have been. They remind me of great roads, great friends and good times.

Awesome shots! Great areas (spotwalla'd you) too. Did they get the wild fire out up in Glacier and was the GTTS Rd open all the way?

Sitting in the lounge of the grand hotel in Waterton, sipping a beverage and watching the sunset used to be an almost yearly stop, have to hit it again next year after healing in time for the longer days again.
