Factory Heated Grip Controller bracket mod

My first 'real' post since purchasing my new used 2003 FJR with 31K a couple months ago.

Inspired by a post by Brian Horias on FJR1300info.com, (https://www.fjr1300.info/howto/yamgrips.html) I made a new bracket for the heated grip controller, using .060 mild steel. Took it a bit further and eliminated the spacer altogether. I like it! Way better than where it was mounted, above the front brake master cylinder! If anyone is interested I'm willing to share a copy of my paper template.

Here's a photo of the new bracket. I'll be painting it black. Or maybe even powder coat.

Thanks for the welcome and reply to my post. I wondered if anybody had read this. I see why not. I mistakenly put this in the parts and accessories section. doh! Is it possible to move my post to a different section? Or repost.......or not.....no big deal.
