Seems like ages since the two of us were able to get out for a ride but finally the stars aligned today. Weather was beautiful. Bike showed temps range from 68 to 77 during the ride which was just about as perfect as you can get. Blue skies and no clouds. Headed out around 10am and got home at 4 with a stop at a lakeside restaurant for lunch. No specific route, just tried to head in directions and down roads we had never been on before and it was great. Anyhow, not much of a ride report but overall it was a great break and just what we needed.

Just the kind of RR I like. Short, descriptive, to the point and one great pic. That's about all my attention span will allow me.

It's great when your wife loves to ride her own bike.

We may have crossed paths yesterday! Entered PA from Nj over Belvidere free bridge in Riverton and made our way up 447 to Shohola and on up to bethel Ny in Catskills. Great day to ride, perfect temps

What routes did you take on you ad-lib outing?
From Bethlehem we took 512 up through Wind Gap and then got onto 115 north. Hopped onto 209 south for a bit and then 115 north again up past Pocono Raceway and then a little bit on 903 to Nick's Lakehouse for lunch on Lake Harmony. Headed back down 115 until right before Pocono Raceway and took a left on Long Pond Road (4002) and then right on Kuhenbeaker Rd (4001). After that I can't honestly say what roads we were on. We just rode around until we ended up on I-80 for a mile and then got off on 611 in Stroudsburg and took that all the way back down to Easton PA and then home. We were on the Stroud Greenway for a bit which was quite pretty but I have no idea how we got there.

Here's a landmark if that helps at all.

Thanks for the RR. The rides with no route plan can be the most interesting and fun.

If we changed the bike colors and years, it could have been my wife and I on a ride (My FJR is a 07 and her NC700XD is a red '13). But I was out of town and the wife was riding as safety escort in the Susan Komen 3 day walk here in Seattle.
