Mad River Burger Bar RTE 5/7/16

Mad River Burger Bar. One of those ubiquitous places you find along the way. Had a shake with BeemerDon and SPU at WFO 09. It was the perfect place to stop for a bit and enjoy the surroundings after a sublime ride. It might not have all the space we need, and it seems that service can be spotty, depending on the day and mood of the employees (at least according to Yelp). BUT, it is on hwy 36, so no matter which way you choose to get there, you are guaranteed to have a blast.

Michelle and I will be there about 11. Looking forward to seeing all who attend.

Humm I'll watch my work schedule. Tasty burgers just slow service as they are usually busy but worth the wait.

Me too. Except for the "work schedule" part. :lol: Maybe I can work it in with a ride up to Arcata to see my kid.

The last time I ate there the service was slow but cute. The only problem I had was the company I was eating with, Carver, panman, hudson and escapefjrtist. It was like a police line-up, sadly enough I fit right in.

I also recall they had exotic animal burgers too. Good burger, but the ride up was even better.

Oh well !!! Two grand kids birthdays on that day. One of them will be sweet 16 - can't miss hers

Would have been a fun over nighter on the coast though.

That was a fun day. Actually a great weekend.

Gonna have ta try 'n make this; any excuse to ride the awesomeness of da HWY 36. (Though I doubt this winter wuz kind to her.)

Winter hasn't been kind to California 3. Y'all need rain, but maybe not all at once!
