Mirror Replacement

I have some OEM FZ1 mirrors being delivered today(supposedly). I tried a search but couldn't find anything. Are there any tricks to replacing the stock mirrors with the FZ mirrors? I'd swear I've seen something about spacers or something like that, but damned if I can find it now. Any hints or warnings would be appreciated. Thanks.

Steve, I got them from partshark.com. Something like $64 each.

Easy install, spacers not needed, worth every penny. The only thing I could see with the OEM mirrors was my elbows. The FZ1 mirrors give me an excellent view of whats behind me.

The mailman did actually deliver my mirrors today and the install went great. Well except for dropping one of the nuts. Thankfully it didn't drop too far and was an easy retrieval. Holy cow what a huge difference they make! I'm kicking myself for waiting this long.
