Colorado Rockies

Decided to take a little ride today.

Headed west up I-70 to US 40 north over Berthoud Pass.





11,300 feet. Fifty degrees. It was chilly.

Down Berthoud through Winter Park, Fraser and Granby. Stopped at Windy Gap Reservoir for a snack and to warm up a bit. It was still in the 50's and very windy.



West to Kremmling where I got a statue.



Headed south past Green Mountain Reservoir into Silverthorne. Decided to get a "V" town and headed west to Vail.



Turned east towards Denver but had to stop at Lake Dillon.



Battled traffic and made it home by 4. 305 miles.

Looked to be a terrific day for riding. I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful scenery. Already seeing a little color up there.

Nice! I'm envious of that Colorado riding. Can't wait to go back. You guys have it about as good as it gets...well, between about May and October anyway.
