Easy USB install

If you already have a quick disconnect pigtail to hook up a battery tender, this is definitely the lazy man's way to add a USB outlet.

I bought one this summer and it works great for a GPS device or a phone.

Only $10.

It delivers 2.1a output as well.

Easier (especially if you don't have an SAE pigtail) is a one or two channel USB plugin for the 12 V socket in the glovebox. Cheaper too.

I did that and popped my glove box fuse, even tho it was 15amp. I think I'm gonna replace that 12v socket with a new one.

I wasn't even running much off of it, charging my phone and plugged in a little GPS speedometer.

I have that usb adapter. Mine died after a while, but it was so cheap I bought another

I have two of them. I tried the glove box system and lost a fuse, plus the glove box door are easy to break. I just attached a "Y" to my heated gear cable and one side goes for heated gear while the other side has an adapter to plug in the USB or the battery tender. Then I have a short cable from there into my tank bag and I can charge anything in my tank bag. I truly love that little device.

I have / carry on each bike, quick way to charge a phone using an existing connection!

I only bought 1 usb unit but I have the quick disconnect charger hookup on both bikes so I can use it on whichever i am riding.

I’ve used a flathead two outlet usb in the glovebox socket for years. No issues. I like the op’s item, though, as it looks like it’s interface with my warmnsafe cord if I ever needed it.

You got that one because it has your initials on the front! Looks pretty good - do you have a link and/or specifications?

The voltmeter could be useful if charging electronics with the bike not running. Could give you some warning when it is time to stop!

Bought mine at MLMS.

Charges the Galaxy S8+ on longer rides. . . . and

Quick connects to my battery tender too. A 2-fer!
