Have looked all over for a set of high visibility LED replacement rear tail lights to no avail for my 2006. Anyone know where I can find a set??

If you're looking for a full unit with turn signals, the only one out is for Gen I. You can replace the incandescent light bulbs with LED versions. As long as you don't have a strobe/modulator, you should be fine. If you do have a strobe/modulator, you'd need to wire in a resistor between the modulator and the tail lights on the positive wires.

I don't know. Easier to add a LED bar somewhere on rear.
Signal Dynamics makes a lot of LED bars- strips that might work for you.

Yeah that looks bright enough. Who turned on the afterburners... Gen 1 only. OP has a Gen 2 maybe they can modify his also.
