Too young to ride?

Everybody's got a family, and mine just got a little bigger, as ittle Brian Allen was born to my daughter Kelly the day before I left for EOM in Maggie Valley. After spending a few hours at the hospital, I came home just in time to meet up with Brodie and head off to North Carolina. So now that I'm back, time to get acquainted with the little munchkin. Would love to post a picture, but the forum isn't allowing posts from Flickr as far as I can tell.

As soon as he is old enough buy him a drum set and a tool box. Your daughter will love you even more. Oh, congrats also.

In four or five years you will know more about dinosaurs than a professor with a PhD in paleontology.

Ha... finally figured out how to post using flickr. Hurray for me and thanks to RossKean for his help. Below is a picture of Kelly taken about 2 weeks before the baby was born. We were joking around about taking her for a ride on the FJR. Of course we didn't do that, but this picture was the result of that conversation:

Congratulations! And awesome photos. I cant wait to have a grandkid to put in my helmet!

Update on little Allen:

Allen turned 6 weeks old today. However, he's only gained 1 pound since his birth. He was a premie and his little system is having a hard time adjusting to this big world. He just got home from a 3 day hospital stay to check for complications. He's been throwing up every day and he's been crying a great deal. Doctors checked him for a multitude of things, but all came back negative, thank God.

They did find a UTI, for which he's been taking antibiotics the last 4 days. Not much improvement as of yet.

I'd appreciate it if you all would pray for this little guy, he sure is struggling. And don't forget my daughter Kelly who's been trying to deal with her own fears throughout this ordeal.

My dad daughter was a borderline premie at 5 pounds 0 ounces - she just graduated from Vet school. God willing, little Allen will get through this and grow up strong!
