Question for the group. Will a aux fuel cell off a 2006 fit a 2016? It is currently attached to the passenger seat.

The only caveat is if the tank has to fit between the brackets of the Givi top box mount. A tag-along tank will, like the two on the 14 FJRs pictured in the Iron Butt Rally. If you have the GIVI mount, make sure the tank is sized to fit.

Yep. Going through that right now. Removed a little metal from the Givi rack and it's still too tight.

Thinking about installing a PCA rack with Garuld Stiffy Kit and and be done with it.

Did not realize this was an issue.. Thanks for posting up..

Don - if that's the tank I sold you, it fit fine on my bike with the Givi rack. You must have a dorked rack

Is it attached to the passenger seat, or did it replace the passenger seat?

"Givi rack" ... Which one? There should be plenty of clearance. See here: <Link>

Do you have any photos?
