I have a gremlin. I suspect the aftermarket grip heaters.

Anyway, this morning, my neutral light failed and I lost the windsheild adjustment.

I am hoping the wind sheild is just a fuse.

But the manual gives no clue to it's location.

Under the D panel? :dntknw:

Anyone ever replace a neutral light?

It looks like that will be a winter project all by itself.

According to my '07 manual (Yes, I'm aware your's is a gen 1, not a gen 2) it's fuse #6 in the main fuse box by the battery. I'd check that general area first. Thats under "Front Cowling Right Inner Panel 1" according to my manual. The Gen 1 and Gen 2 may have similar wiring setups.

My '05 manual says fuse #4 and it's a 2a fuse. #4 is btween a 10a(ignition) and a 15a(radiaitor fan). Pg 6-32 of my manual. Hope that helps ya

It is under the left inner panel (D).

Two, 2 amp fuses. One for windsheild, one spare.

ALSO!!!!

This fixed my neutral light!!!!

So the 2 amp fuse feeds both the sheild motor and the neutral light.

If you ever lose windsheild adjustment and the neutral light...it's the fuse.

I disconnected the grip heaters, so maybe the issue will stay gone.
