How do I reset check engine light?

I found the info to check the diagnostic code I'm getting and reset the fault codes, but I can't get the light to go out. I have a fault code of 24 which is the O2 sensor. I've got the PCIII and have had the O2 sensor unplugged for the last 50,000 miles or so, but the light and code came up on it this past weekend for some reason. I saw a post of someone else who had a similar issue, but they never really specified how to get the check engine light to reset.

I have gone in to reset the codes. It showed that there were several codes and now it says that there is one fault code stored and I can't get that one to reset. In addition the light stays on.

Diag 60 and 61 both read 00, but diag 62 says 1 this doesn't change after flipping the kill switch off and on per the reset instructions.
