Looking for suggestions for January ride

I have the first week of January, 2008 off for vacation. Suggestions on where to go for a nice week's ride would be appreciated. Looking for warm weather -- January in Chicago is a drag. Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, etc. Only US destinations.

 
I spend the winters in the Palm Springs area of Southern Cal and the winter weather here can't be beat. Arizona is very nice also, but I am not sure about New Mexico. You could have some freezing weather in a lot of areas. I am sure we have some members in New Mexico to set you straight.

Trailer the beast to Dallas or beyond, and head to the Mexican border . . . Great Texas roads anywhere from Brownsville to ElPaso. Phil

 
Florida is a good choice for warm weather, but not if you looking for twisties or sweepers for that matter. My vote would be Southwest.

Have fun on your trip and take lots of pictures.
