Brodie, I fully agree about hot showers! it can turn a rotten hangover
into an unbeliveable beautiful morning, I am not a human being w/o
my shower and coffee.
KOA is a nice kampground, too may "K"s in their name, in 1980 took
my XS750e to Alberta, and stayed at KOA's in BC and Alberta,
skirted Mt St. Helens's ash, chased Grizzelies and phished Lake Louise.
I gotta do another run to Canada, they just have the best BEER!!!!

So, not am looking at new dome tents at Big 5, nice quality, and cheap!
and twin air matteress w/elec inflators! technology is a wonderful thing!

Planning on being there! yahoo.gif

And a good turnout as well. By my count - it should be around 50 people or so.

B.

I'm heading up Friday, leaving work (Mtn. View) around noon, and hooking up with a few folks at the north/Sausalito GGB vista point, KSU about 2 p.m. - heading up 1 to Manchester (putting together a plan for a day ride in the area on Saturday... biggrin.gif).

Wanna join us? cool.gif

Hello Happy Campers,

More information then you wanted to know.

The swimming pool and hot tub at the KOA are now open and heated.

If you are tent camping, there will be a sign-in sheet at the KOA check-in counter. Please sign in, pay your camping fee, and collect your wrist band. You will then be directed to the camp sites we have reserved. The KOA has asked me to ask you to please check in with them before setting up camp.

There is a grocery store about a mile south of the campground on the west side of Hwy 1. It is much better then anything I'm aware of in Point Arena. If you have any questions about what they carry, just give them a call.

S & B Market and Supply Inc
19400 S. Highway 1
Manchester, CA 95459
1-707-882-2805

We will be providing firewood for a group campfire, charcoal if you want to BBQ Saturday night, and Sunday morning coffee. Don't forget to bring your own coffee cup! The nearest restaurant is back south in Point Arena. If you are driving up, please bring BBQ tools.

If you are driving and you have extra outdoor folding chairs - please bring them.

We will light the BBQ Saturday night about 6:00pm.

Thanks to everyone that advance purchased Sunday breakfast. We needed to commit to 40 people and you made it happen. If you didn't advance purchase Sunday breakfast, the KOA will likely still be selling tickets. If you did advance purchase breakfast, come see me for your breakfast ticket. You will need to provide three forms of government issued photo ID and a major credit card. It would also be a good idea to bring your PayPal receipt.

Breakfast Sunday morning will be served from 8:30 AM thru 10:00 AM at the Rec Hall.

If you have been on the fence, it still isn't too late to just show up with your tent and sleeping bag. Always room for one more tent. There may still be cabins open. Check online and see:
http://www.manchesterbeachkoa.com/Reservations.htm

See you there!

Yo Patrick,
Did I miss something along the way? Advance purchase of Breakfast?
I thought, maybe I did miss something, that I could purchase the
breakfast there? If you hear a loud pop, that would be my head
exiting,,,,, a crainal-anal issue....
So, I am headed down Sat morning, gonna hit Hwy 1 at Legget, its a nice
ride south to Fort Bragg, which is a Cozy Drinking town with a fishing problem.
and play dodgeball with the Bay Area tourists trying to drive a scenic highway
at bay area speeds, you know, 85mpg on any slight straight away and
15 mph on any hint of a curve..

Looking forward to meeting ya'all

Hello Eddie,

No - you didn't miss anything. The trip was first posted via evite to folks I know, and then Tyler suggested posting it here and there....

I felt kinda strange having my first post or two saying "Hi - I'm new here - send me money!" Since we already had the 40 people needed to make breakfast happen, I didn't worry much about it. So short story shorter, you can pay for breakfast when you get there. Don't worry about it.

Looking forward to meeting you too!

I too, am here as witness to the AE moment, Brodie truely did
get a rise, Tyler got a surprise, it showed in both their eyes!

Tyler, your monniker seems lacking, and henceforth, to wit,
you shall be refered by me and any others bearing witness,
"Tylerbabe", I truely hope you feel giddy in the sexist remark.

Oh, Damn! I had a good time, when is Brodie gonna wire in a
12v blender on his Silver Light show...

got to meet Old Michael, Dine with FJRONAMISSION, watched
Dylan eat squid, and Brodie do wonderful ORAGAMI.
