Y'all still got room for some Canucks at this shindig? I was wet-dreaming with Papa Chuy about Copper Canyon when we were at Tremblant, but sadly that ain't happening.

Mad Mike II also has a cabin reserved, not sure of his guest list.

There should be plenty of room, Dave. Come on down.

If nothing else, you can cuddle up with Jill's & Andy's puppies. wink.gif

Sylvia (Mrs FastJoyRide) will be co-piloting my pick-up with the DRZ400 in the back - do you have room in your cabin Mike or should I book with the resort? Looking forward to this!

I couldn't find info on the website as to whether or not they allow dogs. We have a reservation for our trailer and will probably bring the pups. They will, of course be leashed when on the camp site.

As far as I know "most" want to stay at the "party cabin" next door......

Nobody has spoken for the rest of "my" cabin, so you're in. yahoo.gif
Bring a megaphone so we can shout at the others to keep the drunken noise down. wink.gif

How close are the cabins to the RV sites?

We will probably have our beagle up there, dogs are allowed on a leash. No dogs at the cabins.

It depends on the spot but 43 (ours) through 46 are closest to cabins 4 and 5. Map

Thanks for the map link. Shame about your neighbors. Hope the Brits in space #40 aren't TOO loud for you. I see that there is a doggie area at the top right of the map, so we should be good to bring the critturs. I don't think we'd ever be forgiven if they saw their trailer come home, then leave without them.

The prospect of reliving my 20's for a night of post-pubescent exuberance is dauntingly appealing. I have the time off, and hope to have finances in line for the adventure. If I'm overwhelmed by the AA meeting-gone-bad (or good as perspectives are altered), I may seek shelter with Jill's dogs. I'm not much of a drinker, but I enjoy rabble-rousing; a bigger bunch of rabble does not exist, IMHO. tongue.gif

I always travel with earplugs Mike so drunken revelery shouldn't be an issue!

Thanks for the invite Mike - would you like me to send you some $$ now, or just settle up with you when I get there (or at WCR)?

Paging Tyler!!! Come on down. I believe they have paved roads in Nevada too.

We're looking forward to the event. Just booked some vacation time from work. Since we're hauling our trailer there, we're going to arrive Wednesday and make a long weekend.
I do believe that the dogs are looking forward to it too.

I'm thinking the Hotwheels would be the hot ticket for stability in the sand whoops! wink.gif
I will have an extra bike (DR650) if Tyler or anyone else wants to putt around on. It's damn near indestructible, I've tried! In fact, if you ride it please bend the bars, I want to swap to a fatbar.

I'm getting jazzed! yahoo.gif

I just reserved cabin #1 for Hycles and RogDebs. Let's see if we can get Terri some saddle time on the DR650, she has never dropped a motorcycle in her life. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Awesome news. This trip is just getting better and better.

Has Terri ridden any kind of bike before? Is she (and/or Deb) is interested. I'm bringing my Honda 230. It's a lot lighter and lower than the DR650. It's used to being dropped in the soft stuff and is easy enough to pick up (which I've proven, over and over again).

Terri took the MSF course and has her licence. She has a 1982 Honda Rebel that she has ridden on our street.
She will need some encouragement, arm twisting, or gentle persuasion to ride in the dirt.
She has a history of endurance horseback riding and rode the Flume Trail on a mountain bike years ago.

Then we have a project for the weekend. Let's see if together, we can get Terri to have some fun on a dirt bike.

Of course, you realize that this could be potentially very expensive? You may need to buy two dual sports, two sets of gear, a trailer, camping gear.............. We will certainly provide the encouragement, so that we can have more riding buddies.
