Watch out for this kid

She's been tearing up the club scene for a couple of years, has been known to toss around a motard bike like it's nobody's business, has had her racing career groomed by some of the best in the business and turns 16 later this year so she'll be eligible to run the AMA pro series (assuming there is a series to run).

Oh yeah, Elena rocks. I've been watching her progress on RRW, and I think she'll be the first non-bogus non-"look, I'm girl racer" female racer out there. I also think she's going to kick some ass if she doesn't get badly hurt.

It does kind of suck that she's "graduating" into pro about the time DMG shits on it and everyone quits. I hope she still finds a good ride.

I would be very very very surprised to see her anywhere other than on either Chris or John Ulrich's team.

Now, for a further stretch, I would not be surprised to see either Chris (more likely) or John Ulrich's team on Kawasaki next year.

Elena has a longstanding history with Kawasaki.

Suzuki is, most likely, going to be dialing back their support rides (although there might be some room opening up if Jordan goes BMW or Aprilia).

Chris Ulrich has done quite a bit of testing on the Kawasaki ZX10.

I've been checking out her riding off and on for a couple years too. She rocks and has a good head on her shoulders.
