A big thanks to Johnny80s for arranging the second annual San Diego campout. He risked his reputation, his forum membership and even his marriage for this event. (Mrs 80's came to the campout but had to leave when.........well, I'll let John talk about that if he wants to).

I had hoped to post some pix but my camera decided against taking any. Maybe thought that what happens in San Diego needs to stay there? Hoping someone else has some photos to share.

The weather was perfect. It was plenty warm enough to sit around the camp fire until long past our bedtimes. The camp site is in a most beautiful setting, accessed by a deliciously twisty road.

We left fairly early this morning, to get home to the puppies. Still had time to carve a canyon or two and then enjoy breakfast with Father ManWhore.

Good weather. Great roads. Excellent food. First class people. And no shenanigans with sheep. It was a good trip.

Except for all the mutton for dinner. Sure hope some of the ...ahem...sheep friendly types... don't catch wind of this.

Let's move this thread to RIDE REPORTS. I'm sure there is much to share as I am trying to remember some of the foggy details, mostly coming from MsNASCAR. I did or said what?

Oops! I really, honestly meant this to be in the Ride Reports section. Humble plea to the moderators, to please fix it for me. blushing.gif

Start the thread under RIDE REPORTS and copy or cut and then paste. My powers are very limited but I will do it.

I just started an official Los Robustos Campout ™ ride report. Feel free to pile on.
