We're going to be staying at the

The High Country Inn

1785 Hwy 105

1-800-334-5605

I've got 70 rooms blocked off through August 7th, for checking in the evening of the 7th (thursday) and checking out the morning of the 11th (monday). We've got a group rate of $39 for weeknights (thurs and sun) and $79 for weekend nights (Fri and sat) for standard rooms. They also have suites with fireplace and juccuzi tubs 'n such for you big-spenders, as well as some cabins for larger parties, if you're bringing the whole family, or several of you wanna go-in.

They've got a fairly large back parking lot that we should be able to take over for the bikes, and is fairly inconspicuous at night. They've also got indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and an on-site resteraunt where we may be doing the sunday dinner, and the meetings/door prizes.

Get your reservations in before August 7th, or the unused rooms will be opened back up. Last year we probably had more rooms than that by the time you counted everyone, so I'd get your reservations in early!

More info on ride routes and such to come.

See Ya There!

Oh boy is their phone busy. :telephone: I'm finally in. :good:

I was nice and didn't ask if they had plumbing...I saw the pictures of the place and there were no outhouses!

Awesome, it is right opposite my timeshare lodge, so I will be staying there at Smoketree Lodge.

See ya all there,

Skippy

Very cool Skippy! That works out really well for ya.

My reservations are made. I also asked if there are fridges in the rooms. I was told a coffee maker, fridge & blow dryer are included in all rooms.

Good, there's a fridge. Now, I can come home after a long day of canyon carving & have a cold beer!

I'm reserved

Nice guy on the phone but he thought he couldn't make reservations more than six months in advance until he found out the number of rooms block and I quoted the group rate to him. Thank you for the detailed information Slapapop

Now to start memorizing maps...

Gary

Long as no one minds a FZ1 in the mix I plan to show up.

Did own a 03 FJR once upon a time.

What does warn mean? See left.

WARN means that you can be warned to behave yourself by the admin's. We mortal members of the forum can not see your warning meter, only you and the administrators. We can each see only our own.

That warning is about us using YOU as target practice FZMAN :arrowhead:

Will be great to see you Bob!

Thanks for the explanation, Geezer

I will be on my best behavior.

Likewise, Bill. Glad no one wanted your FJR. :D

I will be in Laconia Fathers Day weekend. It will be good to be back in the mountains again.

Already posted on fjrowners, but I'm in. Reservations made. Not sure what forum is tracking the event, don't mean to be redundant. Come to think of it, my wife quite often claims I'm redundant.

That's not what she told me. :haha:

Hey people, I'm going to try to make this one. I know my daughter will be starting preschool this Sept, but I have to see exactly when that is. If it's after the 11th, I'm going to attempt to make some plans here. Reality just hit while typing this....daugher, preschool, EEESH!
