I recently had all the plastics off my '15 and noticed there was a lot of grit and dirt in the windshield tracks. I cleaned them out but I couldn't find any mention of lubing these tracks in the maintenance manual. Did I miss something?

The FSM for the '07 calls for lithium soap base grease. No idea if the Gen III is similar or not. Whatever you use, I would keep the amount to a minimum, especially if you ride in dusty areas. Many years ago when I had to re-stick the gasket that fills the gaps for the windshield arms, I cleaned the channels, slightly tightened the drive wire and very lightly lubed the moving parts as per the manual.
