George and I have talked this and wanted to ride to Alaska for a couple of years. We were actually had talked doing this last year as I had found a Super Tenere for the right price but life just got in the way. This year it didn't. We left 5/25 from Arlington Wa on a drizzly day and headed for the Aldergrove BC border crossing.

This is a trip in progress and here is a link to our spot tracker.

Most of these pic's are taken on the move, road shots.

First stop after the boarder was Hope BC for a bio break and some clowning around.

The run for the first day was to Williams Lk BC, it drizzled on and off but really didn't get to wet. Here are a few shots taken along the way.

The camera didn't come out much the first day because of the drizzles.

Next day was head for Smithers, BC and the weather turned out great

Town of Smithers.

After spending the night in Smithers we headed for Dease Lk.

One thing you will notice about traveling north is the vista's just don't end. To be continued............ Soon......

Once past Smithers the vista's are vast, it remindes me of riding to Slate Peak in the Pasayden Wilderness.

We camped on Dease lake, ten days before the lake was completely froze over. Folks were still having to heat the underground water lines. I was a little cold that night.

See you in a few days, off to Denali to camp and sight see.

I think the real news in this thread is that George got his bike dirty.

Damn you boys are a long way from home.

Long way away from home is right Hudson. Pan and I have another six days of sight-seeing before we have to start heading home.

Edit...via hotspot from Riley Creek Campground, how crazy is THAT!

You know what is really amazing? I'm sitting here in Denali on my lap top hot spotted to the phone keeping up with the news.

Camping in Riley Creek tonight here in Denali, not enough juice to do another installment tonight.

So stay tuned, night all.... :)

Damn fine looking bar. Ram's head, wolf, four big screens, and LOTS of beer taps.

Jealousy meter is rising quickly.

If you stop by Hyder, say hello to Huddy bear. If the moths haven’t gotten to him yet
