Gen I Ignition Switch Removal Suggestions

I've stripped the FJR down to send all the suspension to GP Suspension in OR. About 18 months ago I broke a key off in the ignition. The bike still works, but its time to look at getting that key out of the ignition lock. I've poured over the manuals and this list today. I don't see any posting on how to remove the ignition from the handle bar assembly.

Suggestions?

Check out the ignition switch recall technical bulletin here. It will have the same instructions dealers would to remove things.
