YES! It was fun.. and as I sit home at the Hondarosa, listening to cricket symphony, and wondering about wandering some more - I am so ready for another big trip.. I simply love being on the road and all that's associated with it, good, bad, better, ugly or best!

Oh, I just decided to go for a 179.1 mile night ride just to to 'beat' you! :p

'jes kidding!

I completely understand that, Don. As anxious as I was to get home "to my own little bed" after 3 weeks on the road, I'd have happily gotten up the following morning and climbed back on the Feej for another long ride.

Here's to many, many more miles and smiles :drinks:

Let me publicly add my own kudos and appreciation to you, Don, for making the long trip "back east". As I said at NERDS, having someone eagerly willing to travel the full breadth of the country to attend our little shoestring gathering really validates the entire premise: It's all about getting the people together, the camaraderie and the RIDING!!

With you, our last NERD, checked back in @home safely, I would have to say that the NERDS experiment was an unqualified and complete success!! :yahoo:

Thanks go out to everyone who attended and made it the great time that it was.

See you all next year (if not sooner)!!

+1000 :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

This was a great time and I'm looking forward to next year! Thanks again everyone. This year Marcia and I celebrated our 39th anniversary on this trip-if the dates are the same next year I may need to up the ante and buy her an ice cream cone too! The 40th gift is ice cream, isn't it?

Your pulling our legs. I mean, I can believe the you've been married that long, old man, but Marcia is far too young for that silly talk. :nono:

BTW - I think the 30th anniversary gift is ice cream. I'm pretty sure the 40th is cream of wheat. That way you don't have to put yer teeth in first. :p
