A result of the tragic accident at the Malaysian GP, Yamaha has asked AMA/DMG Superbike Champion Josh Hayes to replace injured Colin Edwards on the Tech 3 Yamaha. A well deserved opportunity for two-time champion Hayes. Good luck Josh! And I wish a speedy recovery and good luck next year to Colin Edwards on his new CRT BMW.

It's been fun watching Josh Hayes mature as a rider, he's a class act. Most unfortunate the way this opportunity came about but I wish him well. What a chance to ride a complete different animal.
