That was a nasty sleet of ice that pelted the roadways before the snow hit here in MN

Handling with normal knobbies,, wouldn't recommend it unless you have plenty of dirt bike experience..
My photos above were with non-studded knobbies.
Studded tires work the best but don't work well on pavement that is clear. It is really a tough season to
ride in.
I've had some experience dating back to my teen years riding in the snow.. and that does go back a bit as the photo and bike show

I have an offer to ride a bike this winter with studded tires, on a track plowed on a Golden Valley lake. I think I'll give it a shot.

Elsinore? 1975?
Freaking way cool pix..
and..
it was me on the fjr, I admit.
Papa Chuyi, BeemerDons, told me Ice fishing was all the rage...
Is it really crashing if you don't fall down?--I wouldn't change a fucking thing; I've lived hard, played hard, and I ain't done yet. I've paid some severe penalties along the way, but the rewards have been so much greater; even if for just have participating in the game of life with utmost abandon. It's not who rides the furthest in a day, but rather in a lifetime. CBA member #1, IBA #31845 and very proud of both.
