Is Wheels Through Time still in Maggie Valley? When I went through last June, Dale told us they were going to move in October, said he was looking at a site in Colorado. Their web site announces plans to move:https://www.wheelsthroughtime.com/latest-news/ yet also announces plans to open and upcoming events in NC for 2012: https://www.wheelsthroughtime.com/events/

I haven't been able to find out one way or the other; would appreciate any updates anyone might have.

Cigar shop? I like the way you think

Last week I was in cigar stores in Charlottesville and Charleston WV.

Was going to stop in Waynesville but had to work too late.

I've been through Wheels through Time, what a great "working" museum, well worth the time if your in the area. I remember reading that Dale was going to move to out west as well; but good for us he's still there.

Great, delighted to hear the move didn't happen. I'll be looking forward to going through there for the 4th time this year. Can't imagine the logistics involved in moving 320 antique bikes over halfway across the US without any of them getting damaged.

Ok folks, here's what we got.

I looked at the Switzerlandinn and the cost was a little bit higher than what we typically aim for. It looks like an excellent place to stay, and would be a really great place to host a smaller group. There are many good places out there to host a gathering.

At this point, there has been no other hats thrown in the ring, so Annette kicked my in the butt and said to get things sorted out so we know when and where we're going in September.

EOM 2012 will be held 20-23 September 2012 in Hendersonville, NC. I am finalizing details with the hotel now, and once I have that locked down, I will publish the info needed for everyone to make reservations. For those unfamiliar, Hendersonville is in the heart of western North Carolina's prime motorcycle country.

So mark your calendars and be ready to ride this year!

I don't know if you are active on Facebook, but I create 'events' to promote te rallyes in the FJR Owners' group there (we have about 715 members) and will do one for EOM as well. If you aren't a member, but want to be the event 'host' in order to update the details, please join the group and PM me ON FACEBOOK. Otherwise it'll be a generic entry with a link to the event posts on this forum.

Thanks - once I have the details finalized with the hotel, I'll send you a message.
