Looking to do a week riding around TN & NC June 22-30. Planning to hit Barber Motorsports for AMA race Tupelo,Memphis,Nashville,Knoxville,and Asheville.Besides the obvious(Graceland,Ryman Auditorium,etc,.)any off the beaten path suggestions?

Visit Dry Falls right off of Hwy 64 as you head out of Franklin, NC up to Highlands, NC on your way over to Asheville. Beautiful falls on the right side of the road with ample parking. Take 5 minutes and walk down the trail and walk directly behind the waterfall for a unique perspective.

Visit Dry Falls right off of Hwy 64 as you head out of Franklin, NC up to Highlands, NC on your way over to Asheville. Beautiful falls on the right side of the road with ample parking. Take 5 minutes and walk down the trail and walk directly behind the waterfall for a unique perspective.
+1 on Dry Falls. The road is actually Hwy 28 and Hwy 64 together. The rest area/parking lot does not tell you that there is a fall there, but once you shut the bike off you can hear the roar of the water. There is a smaller waterfall a couple miles south of Dry Falls that is actually on the side of the road. There is a paved section behind it you can actually drive behind and underneath to take pics. That road (28) goes north and meets up with the Dragon's Tail (Hwy 129) right at the south end of the Dragon, where the store is located. 28 is an excellent ride for most of its length, I believe they refer to it as the Hellbender or the Moonshine Run. For a nice bonus just north of Franklin there is a gas station on the left with a BBQ restaurant. Stop in and get one of their smoked potatoes with your BBQ platter. You won't regret it.

I love my horse, but my bike listens better.
