This thread has made the cost of this forum totally worth it!
Now every morning I get to decide between my new old bike (2001 BMW R1100S) and my old new bike (2009 Yamaha FJR). Tough call.

My dealer matched the D&H price. I too appreciate the forum making this knowledge available.

Yeah, I realized after I sent in the check that I probably should have tried the dealer match route. I like to spread my business around anyway.

As of a month ago they still had it at that price. You'll have to send a check along with your info but they do this all the time. Good folks.

Call D&H Cycle, I think my two year extension was more than $200 dollars less than your Yamaha quote.

There is a fair amount of mark up on the Yes warranty that allows for some dickering. I used D&H Cycle’s price for negotiating and secured a 4 year Yes warranty on my new Tenere and FJR in the last couple of weeks for a little over $400.00 per bike. I paid a little over D&H’s price but was able to keep my business local and help them keep their doors open for my selfish purposes.![]()
If your dealer won't deal call D&H. They do things a little old school and wanted a check and motorcycle info by mail last time I used them, but they are great people.
