O.K. boys and girls, We are going to have a one day fall colors ride thru the; flat, straight, and boring, roads of Southeast Ohio.

Meet up at the Bob Evans on Arlington road and I-77, in North Canton at 9:00 A.M. for breakfast. Tanks full and stands up at aprox. 9:45

Route to be determined.

All are welcome. Not too many more good riding days left this year.

Be there or be square.

BOY DO I LOVE RETIREMENT !!!!!

Oh yea that would be on Wens. the 21st.

Hi Ray!

Too bad it's not on the weekend. Trevor and I could probably make it then.

What route are you taking on your way down?If you're coming down 83 New Concord might be a better location to meet. There's a gas station at the intersection of 40 and 83.If you're coming down I77 we could meet at the Pilot station at interstate 70 and 209 in Cambridge,it's at the first exit on 70 west after you get off of 77.

Do you have a route you're planning on riding?

Denny,

Let's make it the gas station at the intersection of 40 and 83. That way Joe can shoot straight down 83 and my brother and I can slab it down I-77 to I-70 and across to 83.

You set the route, I'm not about to challenge the "Mr. Miyagi" of S.E.O. roads. A couple of goat paths might be nice.

See everyone Wens. 11:00 A.M.

I think I might be able to find a few goat paths over in that neck of the woods.I'll post a turn by turn route tonight if any one wants to put it in their gps thingy.

O.K.,I made up one route and it looked like it was going to be a little long,so here's my second attempt. This one has some options to bail if the time is getting late or fatigue sets in.

From the 40 and 83 intersection in New Concord;

83 n >

209e >

658n > turn around

658s >

I 70e >yea it's slab,we're under time constraints here.

149s >

147e >

7s >

Moundsville Bridge to WV

WV 2n >

250s >

Proctor Creek Rd w >

Lunch at Quinets in New Martinsville

Cross bridge to Ohio the Sistersville Ferry isn't running

565w >

145s >

821s >

Germantown Rd (cr15)>

Dalzell Rd (cr11) >

530 w >

At this point we will decide how much farther we want to go.If time allows and everyone is up to it;

Huck Rd (cr89) >

Waterford Rd >

676w >

792n >

266n >

377n >

78w > Turn around at Bishopville

78e >

555n > Zanesville

As for times,I'm GUESSING 4 hours plus lunch to the 530 decide point, another 21/2 to Zanesville.I hope we have the time to do the Zanesville section because most of 555 has new pavement and 78 is still being paved, but Ringgold to Glouster is pretty well finished and Malta to Ringgold has the base layer down almost to 377.

See you Wednesday,Denny

A couple of us Indy guys are doing the same tomorrow in southcentral Indiana. We have nice fall colors, curvy, roads, sunshine and 75 degree highs in the forecast! Nothin' like getting out to ride!
