I am home....funny thing was that we stopped and got gas around Pechanga after running up Lilac, then got on the freeway and the Zonies didn't pass me until i was sitting in traffic waiting to get on the 91......

Dang Richard you made some good time... duh.

Oh Dan I forgot to mention.... You're not going to believe this.... Birds hate me. I took out another bird on Ortega Hwy. I saw it coming in at about lower fairing or wheel high, and suddenly it disappeared, then feathers everywhere. Not sure where I got it, I'll have to inspect the bike for bird strike damage. :dribble:

I forgot to thank Neil. So Thank You Neil your rides are always better then your threads :p
No worries Dan. And for what it's worth, this was my first attempt at putting a ride together, so I'm not sure what to think of that...

Have fun on that, it should be a blast.

And shotguns work better than a rifle from motorcylcles - just ask Arnold Schwartsenegger. Just sayin.

Excellent ride Neil and it was good to see everyone, well almost everyone. :p Emily and I had a blast!

By the way, whats a Zonie?
It's disparaging term that us uber cool Californians call our Arizona friends. Please don't tell them, it's our little secret.

:D
By the time they see this they will be crossed eyed and unable to read it anyway. Those two crazy zonies left AZ at 2am to meet with us and then did the ride and on top of that are riding up to Santa Barbara for the night. That is one long day

OK, Kids... All ya'll are going to have to learn how to post. Organizing rides are done here. Ride reports and pix etc are on another part of the forum. Just post anything in the ride reports section with the date of our ride and where we went in the title and some pix, we'll all help. Just sayin' :D

Home at around 5:00 after stopping at Kennedy's Karne to pick up Carne Asada for dinner (I know, like I didn't get enough beef at Fat Ivors for lunch). I also stopped at Cycle gear to pick up a couple of things. Overall great ride though. Niel, you did good. Too bad Simon forgot about Richard and left them behind on Palomar Mountain...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
