+1 to what BIODSL stated. I’ve used INEARZ for years and have no trouble hearing what is going on close to me. They definitely cut back ambient sound, but noticeably less than the claimed 32 db for me. I think that has a lot to do with the way I ride — stock screen, usually at a low setting...
