    Interesting Comment

I never go more two days without riding. I need a car to haul stuff home from the store and when the wife doesn't want to travel by bike. If I didn't have those two problems I wouldn't own a car at all. I am thinking I need a third bike too. Now I got myself thinking.....hhhmmmmm.

2018 ES Clutch engages late in lever release

My 2016 is the same way and made no difference after bleed either. I just got used to it because I heard (on this forum) that's the way the bike and hydrophilic clutches works. My 2016 wing engages right off the handle bar. Oh and congratulations on the new 18

    Dropped it

all the protection add on parts don't work if you park close to your garage wall and forget to put the stand down. The mirror isn't a very good slider. Just saying. Maybe I should attach mattresses to my walls now. Oh, the mirror stay can be fixed with JB Weld easier and faster then replacing...

    My new FJR

Congratulations on the FJR. I had an 05 and traded it in on Goldwing in 07 because of the heat and I could not get used to the riding position. 10 years later I took the plunge on a 16 ES and it is the best bike I have ever had. I went with the Yamaha comfort seat and larger windshield. This...

    2016ES - Vstrom Handguards?

The timing of this is perfect, Thanks, 39.00 total (with tax and shipping) shipped to me. Best deal I have ever had for my FJR other than flushing my breaks and clutch myself. https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/detail/suzuki/57300-31851-291/b4111686

    The stock seat

Yamaha comfort seat is a dream compared to the stock seat and costs less than any of the others. I like to stop for about 5 minutes every 90 to 100 miles anyway to stretch out (or pee, I'm, old). I'm good for a ten hour day with this method. The constant wind noise for long periods of time...

    Gen 3 mirror mount/stay broken

This guy did a Youtube video on this. This may help. I did the epoxy and brace method on mine. I only had to remove the front dash. Eventually I'll do the complete replace but I'm not sure if I'm done tipping it over yet. :-)

    Motorcycle cover

it's also reinforced with material that is like soft felt on the windshield. They last me about two years of everyday use in So. Ca. weather.

    Motorcycle cover

I use this one on my Wing and FJR. It folds up very small. It isn't 100% water proof but it keeps the seat dry the few times it was out in the rain. https://wingstuff.com/products/37085-ultraguard-goldwing-half-cover-black?from_search=1

I'm new here and have a couple of questions on my '13 FJR

I am just learning about the glove box heat issue from this thread. I only read the maintenance part of the owners manual. Who has time to read when you have a new FJR1300 sitting there. I have ridden with my cell phone in there for hours on end in California summer weather and the phone never...

    Took the plunge

Welcome to the FJR The Yamaha touring wind shield and the Yamaha comfort seat and it works for me (both from Yamaha). I am 5' 10" 190. Also added tip over protection using the Yamaha frame sliders and (can't remember the company) bag protectors. the ear plugs I use are...

    ES suspension - 'splain me

I think suspension or ride quality is a very subjective subject. However, this works for me. The way I finally learned how a suspension is supped to work was from a guy on a ST1300 board. He broke it down by spring rebound and then by dampening. Spring rebound is the solo, rider with luggage...

    How wide is Gen 3

These things tip over pretty easy. Don't ask how I know. You may want to plan for what it will take down with it when it goes. The saddle bag guards stick out past the bags but less than the mirrors.
