I don't have a Gen 1 but I do have the R-Gazas. I think they are well built. I even tested it out already (unintendedly, lol)! Dumped my bike in a sand wash looking for a camping spot.

I'm thinking of upgrading from my tiny tank bag to something a little bigger and I'm looking at the Wolfman Explorer Lite (13L expandable to 16L) or Cortech Super 2.0 18-liter. I can't find any pictures of the Wolfman on an FJR. Anyone have one?

I just bought R-Gaza engine guards and matching saddlebag guards for my 2012. I really liked the T-rex engine guards but according to any listing I saw, they are only for 2013-2018. The downside is that they ship from Russia. So it may be almost a month before they get here...
