Mine squeeks a bit too ( 07 model) I mine sounds like its coming from the point where the panniers attach to the bike.

I'm with ya brother. Had my black cherry for a little over a month now. 1500 mi and loving it. Like you, been on BMW's for a few years prior. This bike is fast, fun, easy routine maintenance. I'm liking mine too! :yahoo:

Learned a lesson today. My dealer was out of the appropriate Yamaha oil filter for my FJR. So I went to the net to find a substitute. Found a number of filters listed at www.fjrinfo. Found out the hard way that the motorcraft FL-821 filter is not a good sub. Changed oil and filter only to have...
